By using the Freedom Taxi platform, you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Freedom Taxi operates as a technology-enabled marketplace platform connecting Customers with independent Drivers, Vehicle Owners, Delivery Operators, Acting Drivers, and Travel Companies.
Freedom Taxi itself does not directly provide transportation or logistics services unless specifically stated.
Refunds and cancellations may therefore depend on:
Driver/Partner availability,
Service category,
Timing of cancellation,
Distance covered,
Operational costs,
Subscription plan terms.
2. CUSTOMER BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY
Customers may cancel bookings without charges before a Driver or Partner accepts the booking request.
Cancellation charges may apply if:
The Driver has already accepted the booking;
The Driver has traveled toward the pickup location;
The Driver has waited at the pickup point;
The cancellation causes operational loss to the Driver.
Applicable cancellation charges may vary depending on:
Vehicle category,
Distance traveled,
Waiting time,
Time of cancellation,
Service type.
If the Customer:
Does not answer calls,
Is unavailable at pickup,
Delays excessively,
Or fails to appear,
the booking may be marked as a “No-Show,” and cancellation charges may apply.
Drivers and Partners are expected to honor accepted bookings.
Repeated cancellations by Drivers may result in:
Account warnings,
Temporary suspension,
Reduced platform visibility,
Permanent account termination in severe cases.
Freedom Taxi reserves the right to take action against Drivers causing inconvenience to Customers.
Freedom Taxi operates under a subscription-based access model for Drivers and Partners.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable;
Access fees are charged for platform usage and visibility;
Subscription does not guarantee ride bookings, earnings, customer availability, or business profits.
Refunds may only be considered under the following circumstances:
If a Driver is charged multiple times for the same subscription due to technical error.
Where subscription activation fails completely due to a verified technical issue attributable to Freedom Taxi.
Subject to verification and applicable banking/payment gateway procedures.
Freedom Taxi reserves sole discretion in determining refund eligibility.
Approved refunds, where applicable, may be processed through:
Original payment method,
Bank transfer,
UPI,
Wallet reversal,
Or other suitable payment channels.
Refund processing timelines may vary depending on:
Banks,
Payment gateways,
Financial institutions,
Technical processing cycles.
Typical processing time may range between 7 to 15 business days.
The following are generally non-refundable:
Completed rides,
Completed delivery services,
Driver subscription fees,
Platform service charges,
Convenience fees,
Promotional or discounted plans,
Verification charges,
Third-party charges.
For Acting Driver and Delivery Truck services:
Cancellation fees may apply after service confirmation;
Charges may increase if the Driver/Vehicle has already commenced travel;
Partial payments may be retained toward operational expenses.
Payments made for:
Business listings,
Promotional visibility,
Advertising placements,
Directory subscriptions
are generally non-refundable once activated or published.
In case of:
Failed payment deductions,
Pending bank debits,
Interrupted payment processing,
Users are advised to contact their bank/payment provider first.
If the deducted amount is not automatically reversed within the bank’s standard timeline, Users may contact Freedom Taxi support with:
Transaction ID,
Payment screenshot,
Date & time of transaction,
Registered mobile number.
Freedom Taxi reserves the right to:
Reject refund requests,
Suspend accounts,
Initiate legal action
in cases involving:
Fraudulent claims,
Payment abuse,
Fake bookings,
Manipulation of offers or subscriptions,
Unauthorized transactions.
Refunds or compensations may not apply in situations beyond reasonable control including:
Natural disasters,
Government restrictions,
Traffic disruptions,
Internet outages,
Vehicle breakdowns,
Public emergencies,
Strikes or protests.
